ABOUT ME

David has been skiing ever since he could walk, but didn't start to race seriously until he was about 17 years old. In 2007 he had a "break through" year and won a race at the Canada Winter Games in Whitehorse. After he graduated high school he went to train with Pierre Harvey National Development Centre in Quebec, and spent the next five years there.  David has represented Yukon and Canada at many competitions around the world including the 2009 World Junior Championships in France, and the 2012 World U23 Championships in Turkey. After the 2011/2012 racing season David left Quebec and went back home to be part of the newly formed "Yukon Elite Squad" racing team base out of his hometown Whitehorse.
