End of another season

It seems like it was just last week that it was summer time and I was training in Quebec, anxiously waiting for the race season to start...and now it's all over. It ended pretty well for me; my last major race was the National Champs, held in the Callaghan Valley, BC. I placed 2nd in the 10km classic race, 4th in the 30km classic and ended up 3rd overall in the Junior Men category. After the Nationals we (the Yukon Ski Team and I) went back home for one last race; the Yukon Champs. The Yukon Champs weren't quite as prestigious as the National Champs but were still fun and I ended up winning the overall. The race season is over but I'm still skiing. I recently went up to the Skagway Pass (a higher elevation Pass that connects Whitehorse with the City of Skagway, Alaska) for some fun skiing/snowboarding. We still have a fair amount of snow left on the trails in Whitehorse too, and should be able to ski for at least a couple more weeks!
