nationals - race #2

Well I just finished the 10km classic race and let's just say that it didn't go anywhere near to what I had planed. I went into the race with pretty high expectations but things started to fall apart on the last of the two laps. I started out strong but with about 5km left I started to loose my kick and was really struggling to make it up the uphills. I ended up having to herringbone up most of the bigger uphills which is never fun. In the end I finished 14th Open Men, 1min 11sec off the lead. So now there's nothing to do but forget this race and try to focus on redeeming myself tomorrow in the 15km Skate.....
